great things that i learned this semester in each class

my focus for the rest of finals week is to study to learn, not merely to do well on the test {though frankly i'm sincerely hoping that the two will coincide!} so i shall drop off my favorite snippets of knowledge that i glean as i seal off this semester's courses:

hlth100:
-think globablly, act locally
-china has the worst air pollution
-why is there so much emphasis on healthcare reform, and not on HEALTH REFORM?
-the current global health situation is an injustice of historical proportions because people are dying of things for which we have a cure!
(ahem, 100% baby, though the t.a. did give us all the answers . . . a tainted victory.)

hlth 330:
-Health is seen as a resource for everyday life, not the objective of living.
-Health is created and lived by people within the settings of their everyday life; where they learn, work, play and love.
-there are lots of dumb technical language and ridiculous labels used in health promotion . . . ahem.
-ringo is my favorite beatle.
(1-0-0. woot. now for the real tests)
