Guess What!?!

I leave for Paris in approximately 60 hours - holy mackeral! Can you believe it? I am in full FULL travelling mode. My mom mentioned to me that I have a lot to do, and - how true that is - but my main priority to is to still my pounding/aching heart. Everything ties back to Paris somehow. Just . . . everything. It's coming together. I've {and by that i mean my lovely lovely padres and i} have figured out la situation d'argent, bleh, hopefully that's all there is to it.

But then there's getting together everything else, and I have this tingly-slash-slightly-uncomfortable little knot in the very depths of my stomach and the middle of my throat that remind me (as if i could forget, honestly.)

Everyone has been beautifully kind. It's remarkable. Nothing gets people chatting like Paris. Anywhere, anytime, anybody. Done. And by the way, that is the beautiful Nikon FG I'm taking with me. I love it, I adore it . . . I need a name for it. Anyway, it's all-ALL manual. It's amazing. Sure all that digital automatic jazz is pretty saucy, but really, I'm so looking forward to this experience of appreciating all the genuine mechanisms of this classy darling. Gah, I can't wait. I'm using film and I just can't wait! (and again i can't believe the generosity.)

And, I'm getting a haircut tomorrow, good-ness, my poor cheveux- hasn't had a decent haircut in a year-shocking, I know, but she'll get all she deserves tomorrow! And I am head over heels for this post on "jane" by garance. I lover her hair, and her versatility and how calm and classic she is. Wow.

My room is a disaster. It looks like throw up. Suffice it to say, I have a lot of clothes, and the whittling process is going much more smoothly than I anticipated. Now you have to understand that I don't really "buy clothes" per se, I do, but it's more that I acquire pieces; they're all really special and have significance in my wardrobe, and it's hard for me to diss certain pieces by not deeming them worthy to travel across the world with me, but all is going well so far, but tomorrow will be more precise whittling, and the physical packing, and hopefully some cleaning, and meanwhile, I have nowhere to sleep - but hey, I've got UO's playlist going, and what a thrill. Good-ness, the later the hour, the more prolific the run-ons . . . sorry.

A bientot!
