Some films

1. Helvetica. This film is such a fascinating piece on the world of typography, particularly helvetica. Several major designers were interviewed and discussed their feelings on the font that essentially transformed the world of typography, and its resounding influences.
2. Om Shanti Om. Farah Khan is just so stellar. She also cheographed Dil Chahta Hai. I love how the cores of this culture (namely reincarnation) are so prevalent. And may I also say that Deepika Padukone is just about the most gorgeous woman I have ever seen. I even had to look up Queen Rania (who formerly held the spot for most gorgeous woman) just to see how they compared. Wow. I watched this all by my lonesome in the Maeser building because the other people wimped because of the length (2hr. 40min.) and the lack of subtitles. But I stuck it out and thoroughly enjoyed it.
3. Batman Begins & The Dark Knight. I confess I have only seen these two once each, and I forgot how well-done they were (and how great bruce wayne looks.) Such great pieces of film. And all I could say while watching Dark Knight was "oh heath." I miss that guy. What will my life be without bernie, heath and the king of pop?
