totally crushing on this wedding.

I figured that the notion of weddings was appropriate for a Sunday morning, as long as I include some valid commentary. I couldn't exit it out of the tab where the pictures were, so here I am, and am as smitten as I was last night.
First of all, the dress, it suits her body type so perfectly, and I am undone by the elegance of the long long dress. The lace particularly is wicked classy, but definitely has a very modern flair to it. Plus, the very neutral tie at the waist breaks things up and provides definition without distracting from the gorgeous flow of the dress itself.
I'm not sure how I feel about the vintage handbag, mostly for the sake of "what would i do with that?" but now that I think of it, it might be nice to store some little handies for the day in one of those, as opposed to a ziploc baggie.
I'm definitely digging the light suit for the man. It's grey which helps me to relinquish any negative ideas associated with light beige suits and beachy weddings. I confess it does look more casual than the black, but let's consider their setting - he couldn't possibly have worn such a stark black in the country, so grey is a great compromise.
The bouquet!!! Who knew that hydrangeas could look so exquisite in a big ball with roses tucked underneath? Their colors were lavender and grey which makes me a little sleepy - they're just so soft and light.
The homemade flair is definitely to be admired. The very personal and functional handwriting aspect is a really big deal to me . . . probably because I'm rather fond of my own handwriting.

Anyway. It's funny to me at times how much I adore looking at weddings, and admiring all that is to be had with them, and yet I am in no hurry to arrange my own. Living in the town I'm in, marriage comes up . . . a lot. There is always more to explore on the topic, but I'm okay offering only theoretical opinions at this point. Very very okay.
