it was taken on bus while the senior class of '08 travelled to disneyland the night after graduation. i'd just given a grand ol' speech and lent out my favorite pair of jeans to this lady.
it's the first one in my iphoto, and so, as it happens, i see it nearly everyday. i love it.
so many things have happened since this snapshot. i like to think we're grinning at the prospect of our lives galloping away after this night. lots of countries and other individuals and long phone conversations and disappointments about college and such. gee whiz.
also, these guys seem to be floating around the very outer reaches of musical tastes, and properly so. i'm pretty smitten. mumford and sons are incredible.
