i'm just sayin

i have never, ever, EVER wanted to ditch class as badly. so so badly. i don't dislike my classes, but my fantasies regarding staying home have never been so clearly outlined in firm rationalizations.

but then i ask - what would i DO if i stayed home . . . and that's why any career as a gangster, or mob member, or simply a class delinquent would never suit me. i suppose i'm simply not creative enough for such things.

but for the sake of a "preparation for my time as a dwindling member of society" here's what i would do:

-paint
-read my scads of books that seem to pile up so effortlessly (physically and in list form)
-watch the films that i've been meaning to (ditto)
-nap, because seriously, i've got good excuses coming out of my ears
-seek out incredible music (oh jazz, and experimental and all the other things i've never heard of)
-clean.

oh dear, i'm afraid this list only goes to prove that i would in fact be a lousy scud of society. oh well, i guess i'll just have to run with the desire to ditch class . . . after i get back from french class. oh boy.

You know, when you are old like me, being in a class will seem like the most desirable place to be.

Just saying!!
