un peu du pain

i've finally captured, legitimately - to do her justice, this bread that has filled my life with joy.


every other time i've just slapped her in with some salt sprinkled on top, but as it's saturday (oh dear love, my favorite day of the week) i drizzled some locally-grown honey, speckled with oats and sprinkled with kosher salt. quelle joie.
and then i ate some for breakfast. with an egg, and some wilted spinach (though frankly that which was most wilted were my spirits after - once again - piercing my beloved yolk. oh well, i still sopped up what i could with, of course, some bread.)
