10 things I hate about you

WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE? I remember that we had this movie at my house for a little while when I was younger, but I never watched it. Why??? I confess that I became engulfed in the 1999 music, and the fervor of young love. Oh Heath. This movie made the agony of his death all the more potent. I love him, so so much. And Joseph Gordon-Levitt - love him and his pre-pubescent self. And nerdy David Krumholtz, what a guy. 

I was nine when this movie came out. Far too young to actually appreciate all the adolescent idiosyncrasies. Although watching it did remind me a bit of high school. Granted, I realize that I've been out just over a year, but - although there was no one of Heath Ledger's stature (this is me swooning) - the backbiting and swearing and . . . drama I guess, ring familiar with my memories at MHS. It's just weird to be past that. All those teen movies are about kids in high school, and now I'm too old for that (well, no I'm not) but I'm not to old to admit that I rather liked the movie.
