The Bauhaus

I studied the bauhaus last term, and became infatuated with it's avant garde sense of fusion between art and technology. It was established in about 1919 in Germany as an outlet for artists, became a school, and eventually a market. Now it has a museum, and library, and continues to provide workshops to some of the best artists.
Anyway, this isn't meant to be an art history lesson, but I happened upon their website {admittedly, I didn't suddenly feel inspiration to search it out, but there was an ad for the bahamas with a cool graphic, and one thing led to another-I'm not sure how I feel about that story.} Nonetheless, the site is a piece of art in itself. It talks a lot about Walter Gropius the founder, and all the great work he did.
Paul Klees was a product of the Bauhaus, and his piece {below} "the twittering machines" is my favorite of his. He was truly before his time.
