Learning to Let Go

I usually don't hoard and harbor things. If someone asked me what the key to success was, I would tell them to let go of what you don't need. Now, this can go two ways; either you do so, and you stay stress-free and de-lovely, or, it can go horribly awry where you care about nothing and it bites you in the derrier. At this point, I am in neither of these situations because I am holding on to things. The issues of life are harbored and festering because I am not willing to recognize them for what they are, deal with them, and send 'em off.
This all actually transcends back to a concept I was dealing with earlier, and that is thinking positively. It is so very simple to criticize and and dwell on all that is awry and construed, and this sets the tone of one's life at very bleak, unhappy and discontent. Whereas focusing on the good and beautiful allows one's life to bloom and be uplifted at every opportunity. Life won't ever go perfectly nor will it ever be in our complete control. Yet the paradigm through which we view ourselves and the world is within our grasp, and despite any unexpected obstacles or disappointment, it is still possible to maintain a buoyed up look at life.
What's more, is that the relation of these two issues is undeniable; you can't hold on to negative ideas and expect a positive view of life. So I'm going to let go of what is not benefiting me.
