"The Sweet Life"

So this man, he lives in the Catskills of New York, bakes pastries in his cottage with produce that he's plucked from the mountainside, and then goes into a market downtown to sell them.

. . . I think I want his life.

Scout Magazine online has some really nice features of very worthwhile individuals (like those chocaltiers the Mast brothers) and it's a delight to hear about people who have honed their craft and live at such a higher standard than most people; they have determined their passions, and now they're in the world sharing that passion, diligence and skill with the rest of the world. What a beautiful thing.

I always fantasize about living away and off the land. And it is indeed a fantasy because I can't even keep the deer away from my roses!!

But it's lovely to dream about!
